A great, atmospheric club meet was held in lovely weather high above the sea at Garden of Eden / Spooky Cave crag. Attendance was good and climbers were soon flowing up the easier routes while a few tried the popular “Manic Cure” F7a on the left side of Spooky Cave. Great to see some of our kids zone members join us today and try this route too.
These meets aren’t only about having a good time, they’re about creating a sense of community, introducing people to the sport while also teaching and demonstrating good practices! Today I also started repair work on the two vandalised anchors ably assisted by Jamie Bliss but unfortunately after drilling the holes was unable to finish the job due to a glue gun malfunction. Will go back soon to finish the job.
