BMC International Summer Climbing Meet

The British Mountaineering Council will be organising its bi-annual international summer climbing meet in North Wales between May 10th and 17th 2015. The meeting is open to trad climbers with at least two years trad climbing experience and involves climbing daily with an experienced local guide/partner. If you’re interested in attending this event kindly contact me for more info. Here’s a video about the 2013 summer meeting in Cornwall which was attended by myself and Kyle Bonnici:

    Hi Simon,
i’m interested in the summer camp. I’m a trad climber from spain and i usually climb un nearby areas around my house like la pedriza where you can find tons of trad climbing. I’ve been doing cracks for almost 15 years all around, from indian creek to europe or morocco.
I’ve always wanted to climb in north wales, specially one route that i’m in love since i was a kid: the quarryman. yes, i know it’s not trad but the moves are more about trad climbing than about sport climbing. although i’ve been twice in north wales working in windfarms, i never had the time (and a lucky weather) to climb.
it would be very kind of you to let me know more about the summer camp: activities program, prices, places to stay, gear required, etc…

    thanks sincerely,
    pablo
