Thanks to everyone who came to Tal-Ingliz yesterday for our annual club Christmas drinks event. It was great to meet everyone away from the crags for a beer or glass of wine, snacks and a chat. We really should meet for drinks more often. I’d like to take the opportunity to especially thank everyone who throughout the year has contributed in one way or the other to the running of the club, to bolting new routes and maintaining others in their personal time and sometimes at own expense for the benefit of all climbers locally. To name a few: Stephen Farrugia, James Herrera, Jeffrey Camilleri, Stevie Haston, Aaron Attard, Malta Barter, Kyle Bonnici, Inigo Taylor and Andrew Hooper. You guys are the best. I would also like to wish a Happy Christmas and prosperous New Year to all climbers in Malta, irrespective of club affiliation as well as the many climbers from so many countries with whom we’ve had the pleasure to climb in Malta and abroad over the years.
