MCC at AMITEX 2012

The Malta Climbing Club yesterday  tried out the wall on the ROCS Extreme stand at the popular AMITEX travel trade fair which is currently on at the MFCC.    The wall was built by Gregory Attard who is promoting a range of extreme holiday climbing packages – a new venture for him, wall construction was also helped by Daniel Zammit and Matthew of the Bowline Outdoor Shop.  Club members spent the evening trying out the routes, which were actually very hard and overhanging, while also assisting members of the public who were brave enough to don a harness and “go for it”.

AMITEX will be open until Sunday – any climbers wanting to attend and help out on the stand or try out the routes can just proceed to the stand (enter main door, then its on the right).
