Kurt Vella Haber recently equipped and led clean a new 6c sport route on the west side of Wied Babu – thats the side opposite the leaning block with mostly trad routes.  The route is on the left end of this crag.

The route is called “Apple Snatcher”.  Kurt describes it as “a fully sports route, with 7 bolts leading to a chain anchor. Its a 6c French grade.  Brief description:  easy climbing for the first 2 bolts then a long reach for a good jug followed by another long reach for a very good undercling. Then exit the climb with some easy moves.”
