Panta Lesco, local agents for HILTI International, have generously sponsored the club by donating a TE 6-A36-AVR cordless rotary hammer drill which shall be used primarily to equip routes with lower-offs and belay stances where necessary, generally facilitating the practice of the sport in Malta.

The drill was presented to the club during the 1^st Malta Bouldering competition organised by the Malta Climbing Club at Wied Hasan on Saturday 26^th February 2011.   Also in attendance at the presentation were Ing. Marco Cremona and Dr. Gregory Attard, two active club members, who formed part of the Challenge8000 team which reached the summit of Mount Everest in May 2010.
